fuel pump replacement help

the old farm wood getter truck finally quit on me. Fuel pump, well the tank had been leaking a little bit so I replaced tank and fuel pump, or should say I am replacing, the fuel pump comes with a non oem replacement connection. Problem is the wire colors are not the same from the old pump wire feed. Here goes, existing ford wiring to old fuel pump, orange #12, red#12, black with yellow stripe #14, black#14. The new plug has this wire configuation black, black with white stripe, grey, purple, all #14 guage. Can anyone tell me which wires to connect together. Remember this thing is very inaccesable up under the box once in place. All help and suggestions appreciated. Been thru this before with a s-10 but the colors matched. gobble

I can’t help you but I would think if someone had access to Ford wiring diagrams knowing the specifics about the truck would likely help them. You know Ford, year, F??, Engine, AT or MT? That kind of stuff, I’ve heard the saying “buy them book, buy them books, send them to school and all they want to do is look at the pretty teacher” (G rated version) Newbies seem to have this problem, not sure what the excuse might be for a seasoned gobbler?
