fuel tank bracket fabrication

Has anyone removed the fuel tank from a 9n Ford hood and fabricated brackets to mount it from the engine or frame? I am an older person and if i can do this it will make the hood lighter for removal. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

I don t want to come across as an a-- but you only need to remove
it for an overhaul. I took two off,one beacuse I didn't know
better, and one to pull the head.

It would be MUCH simpler to rig up a hoist to an overhead beam or use a "cherry picker"/engine hoist to lift the hood and tank as a unit.

Or, with the tank empty, line up a helper for a minute or two and lift it off.
