Fuel Tank Sending Unit

I have a 1934 Ford truck and the fuel goes out the bottom of the tank. Is there a sending unit that will mount on the undeside and work in an upside down position. There is an old fuel gauge unit that is in the tank but I can"t figure it out. I don"t find an original fuel gauge for the truck. Does any one have some information?

Sending unit basic part # is 9275. Now depending if 4 or 8 cyl you either have a model BB or Model 40 So put BB 9275 in front of 9275 for part #
BB 9275. 40 9275-B or 40 9275-c is 3 choices I see in my old ford book for 32-34 Ford pass or Comm.
A search of obsolete ford parts sites might find you something. I did find one sending unit for $37.50 but not sure it fits your truck as the prefix was 99A but said it was for 34 Ford and other years. Good luck.
