Fuel tap Seal

Hello Guys

Is there any secret goop or method for sealing taps into fuel tanks ??

My MF 165 tap leaks, and I have a new one to hand. However it needs to "register" or tighten in the right spot so the fuel line will connect.

"Gasoila" is one such product.

The "hard set" version works GREAT when the parts have to be "registered", as you say.

Thanks Bob - I knew there'd be just the right stuff but unless you know the right "words" (i.e. "hard set" in this case) you're just as likely to get a blank look from the store clerk that sorta makes you think you're questioning his parentage !!
