Something new has happened today, went into the garage and smelt
gas, went around to my 8N and there was a big puddle of gas on
the floor. Checked fuel valve and it was turn off, it was
leaking from the intake side of the carb. So I found out 2
things, float valve on carb is not working to good and my
shutoff is not shutting off that great. So are there any new
valve assemblies available or should I get a whole new valve,
heard the aftermarket ones are crap, so far I haven't seen any
valve assemblies, I'm talking about the sediment fuel shutoff.
Thanks.

Rblt carb kits should have the Viton tipped needle that should end that problem. If your carb has t he all steel needle, you might have a problem. As for the shut off valve, most new ones are dubious at best. I added a fuel shut off solenoid to the wife's 12V Fergy and in the process of trying a 12V solenoid on a 6V 8N. It might work, probably not, but I found it on Amazon for about $11.
Tweety, the 8N is also outside waiting for me to find another "round tuit" chip.

I have had no problems with aftermarket fuel shut off bowl assemblies. I have had up to nine N's at one time, so I have replaced a few of them. I buy parts from YT.

I got two 8n and one I shut the fuel off every time to shut it off, It4 has a magneto on it. The other one I just shut the key off. Both have sediment bowls from YT and they work just fine.

well I'm with you on the sediment bowl is just not working out for me. I finally just took an old fuel line cut it into pieces and plumbed a brass turn off valve I bought at an napa store. Some folks have all the luck

Do all the usual PM and fuel flow testing and you only need to get the valve assembly-p/n APN-9194, a $6 part. If fuel line is boogered due to incorrect thread size (7/16-24 USN)it will also leak. Click on the link from the FORD forum where I just answered this question.
