Good Morning,
We have a Yanmar 2310D. Haven't used it for a year and am doing routine maintenance to use it again. On the right lower side of the dash below the key switch is a white knob. If I remember correctly we were told to shut the key off, then pull that know to shut the engine down. I have an Operation Manual and a Service Manual. Neither one show this knob, but show the decompression knob on the lower left side. Following the linkage of the white knob shows that it is part of the throttle system. What is the proper use of it? Thanks.
