I added this to an old post but not sure anyone would see it. If you have a ford 2000 with 12v lucas generator and need new springs, there are 2 kinds. Round coils is what the parts book says, but mine had no identifying markings and had flat clock spring type springs. I figured it out it ws from a David Brown tractor. I got them from Messicks and part number is k962788 which i think is a Case part number.
