new to minnies bought a 1050 last weekend 3 point and hydralics dont work but steering does it also has 3 speed ampli torque which does not work on the low side was wondering if it will hold in direct and over if it would slip under load thanks
 
The three speed in a G1050 is direct low and extra low. The extra low side is a mechanical sprague unit while the intermediate and direct are hydraulic clutch packs so there function is not affected by low being out. The power steering and the hydraulics are seperate systems probally a bad hydraulic pump they are a closed center system.
 
yes it is the tractor fron aumanns it seems to run well it looks like someone was proud of it at one time by the mural one the side of it. i think it would be neat to restore, but to fix everything it would take a while. Is there any parts available to fix the three speed?
 
i hope to get it functioning 100% first but maybe restoring it in the future.its in the old tractor shed right now ill get to look it over better when it rains or i get the field work done. i plan on pulling it in the 12000 lb na class at the fair i hope it does well against 4020s and 806s.
 
Do not run it in low until you fix the over running clutch. You can get to it easy enough by taking off the side cover. No trans disassembly needed. Our G950 had the sprague clutch come apart, but it did not ruin anything yet. cost like a grand for all parts.
