I have a G705 lp and the clutch does not seem to engauge properly. When pushed forward it does not "pop" into place. It works well if held forward but will fall back and stop. It had sat for a long time prior to me getting it. Any help or ideas would be great. I am not that familuar with hand clutches.

this is what you do. remove side cover on the clutch housing disengage the clutch, then turn the clutch plate until the adjusting lock pin appears. pull the spring loaded pin out, this disengages the clutch yoke from the notch in the floating plate. turn or tap the yoke clockwise intil the lock pin engages in the next notch of the floating plate. keep moving it over one notch at a time intil the hand clutch feels good should be about 75 pounds of force.

Thanks, That worked perfectly. Now all that is left is to rebuild the stearing box.
