G carburetor?

I need a carburetor for a G tractor. So Far I have found none. Logic says that with so many made, the old ones would be out there. Was there a fault with them that led to the disappearance of used ones? At any rate, has anyone here have experience with the reproductions? Do they work?

They are pretty simple. Can't you rebuild it or is it missing altogether?

I have two engines, nut both carburetors are missing totally. UGH. I have called a few salvage yards and have not found one. I have heard that the new replacement units are not that good, but do not know what the complaint is with them.

I have used a knock-off and it worked just as intended. Still pricy though.
