Will the fan shaft gear and fan shaft drive gear from a late model A work in the governor of a 1952 G john Deere? Parts for a G governor are hard to come by.
 
The short answer is yes. According to my parts manuals the late A (584000+) and the G both used F113R and F114R gear and pinion.
