I don't know the history but do you have any pictures of it?

really no one knows anything about this tractor? its been well cared for must be out of a collection or just well cared for family tractor

An alternative search may help. Facebook, Minneapolis Moline Fan Page would be a start, if possible, include a picture

What's the full serial number and is it LP or diesel? A friend just bought a 1050 LP in Eastern Colorado, hopefully he'll have it running soon.
I teased him that he needed to get it going because with current fuel prices it might be his most economical tillage horse. Lol

it is a diesel

well maybe not such a great deal after all but i ran it about 2 hours and got about 6" of water in the oil pan now i am thinking it probably is the water pump leaking what do you guys think it has what looks like redone heads on it no paint on them

I don't know about the engine in a 1050 specifically, but I used to run tons of stationary MM engines for irrigation - and the water pump seal was a super good guess as to why water could get in the oil pan...

I always thought it was odd, too - most of those old water pumps would leak to the outside when the engine was shut down, but you could fire them up and they wouldn't leak a drop to the outside anymore...

They weren't hard to swap out...
