g705 steering box

The steeringbox on my 705 is in bad shape. Does anyone have one or know where there is one? I called Welters and they do not have one.

Try 4 corners at Carney,Ok.Talk to Allen at:405 612 0002. If G 6 s are the same they mite have on in their yard.

I had trouble with mine to. After the second one failed I got a steering box off a GVI from North 81 Salvage in Sedgwick, Kansas. That was ten years ago and no more problems. Early G705/706 use the same box as a GVI but later ones are different. Get the mounting brackets with the gear box and you put the Gvi box on the later 705.

There's one for a G on e-bay right now. Don't know if that will work for you

I 'll bet Minnie M. did not set down and design them. Why not clean the old one up real good and see if someone cannot match it up to a truck or something?
