Garden wter sprayer?

Guys,

I have a garden finally but it is not in the best spot for sun. It is not bad but not great. But I can reach it with water from the house. A better spot would be out in the field but we have had two consecutive drought years. And I have no water out there. I was wondering if I could fashion a 3 point rack or trailer type water tank and run a pump off the pto to get spray action something like 40 psi. Or is there something I could convert from another application to water the garden with a sprinkler connected to tractor pto? Some type of fertilizer or herbicide sprayer?

I used an old sprayer tank and then dropped a small submersible pump in it. I just sit my generator on the hitch platform to power it. Pump it out with a garden hose.

Found a rusty oil tank. Rigged well hose fittings and set my engine powered honda pump all on a cart. Worked just fine.

I use drip irrigation. I have a 700 ft run to my rear garden 1/4 acre and use a garden hose to feed system. You use a lot less water, but you run the system for an hour or more. I also water 1/2 acre of apples the same way. If you are a lot further you can still use a tank and pump-or gravity. Check out irrigation mart in Louisiana-they have a website or call 1-800-say-rain. When you talk water it comes to big numbers-an inch of rain for 1 acre is about 28,000 gallons

rent a trentcher and be done with it. lot less problems and better and easier in the long run. you can still get the old roll piping i think from tsc. if you go under a road with it put a piece of pvc over it where it goes under any gravel to protect it.
