Gas Door Hinge Question

Thge '52 N I just bought has the fuel door with uith it, but it is separate from the tractor. After I got the hood off and the tank out, I found one hinge rusted through Have any of you any esperience in riviting these things in, once I am able to find a replacement?

Your advice and suggestions are welcome.

I installed mine with 10-24 screws with lock washer and nut on the bottom side. Looks good to me. My TCW, Bill

Yeah, I did the same as Bill did.
Worked good.
I used pan head bolts. Once it was painted, you can hardly tell the difference.

This site sells both the hinge, as well as door and hinge assembly I think.

Pop rivets with a back up washer will work - Use steel vs aluminum so it doesn't loosen up over time.

Use lock-tite on the threads if you go with the nut & screw solution.
