gas line fitting

On my carb on my 1600 oliver there is a brass fitting on the fuel line that has the rubber in it. The rubber is loose or wore out so the line doesn't seal. Where do you get that rubber insert or how do you fix it? thanks

Most any diesel injection repair shop will have them.

Three common sizes are for 1/4" steel line, 5/16" steel line, or 3/8" steel line.

I have the John Deere part numbers saved somewhere for those sizes, I've picked up a number of them over the years as they stock them at the dealerships.
 
I posted about this same thing a few months ago and did what ziffel recommended. Worked just fine !
