Yesterday in Appleton Wi. it was $3.25. 14 miles West in Dale it was $3.11

I remember .159 for Gulf Gulftane or Sunoco 190 in the '60's...

When I started driving in 1969, that was the everyday price. Gas wars would get it down to 18 cents. $2.50 would fill my 65 ford van.

Do you remember when gas went over $1 and the gas pumps couldn't handle more than a dollar so they cut the price in half and then doubled the price at the cash register?

If I recall it was in the early 70s after the opec embargo.

Opec is still messing with the price of gas.
