The original subject was "Gas Tank Cleaning".
Had good success in removing rust from an old 8N tank by using a mixture of course sand and pea gravel (approx 6 cups) in the dry tank. The grit-filled tank was secured with blocking inside a cement mixer and slowly rotated for 30 minutes. The tank interior surfaces came out very clean. Grit mixture and rust debris washed out easily.
