I just picked up a couple of good running gbd"s.(actually one mf95)
I noticed they have pretty well the same engine that the gVI has but run at 1300 rpm vs 1500 on the GVI.

Is there anyway to up grade the gbd"s engine speed and HP so I can sell the GVI(it not a runner but not locked) I have? I would really like to get that 20 extra HP somehow.

You can increase the governed speed & increase fuel at pump but why? You have 2 quite scarce tractors that are over 50 years old. Keep them stock, save them as is.
Guys we have to quite modifying these gems, or soon there will be non stock left between High Scrap prices & pullers, the good stuff is almost gone.

Yes there is an easy way to turn the fuel up on that GBD. E-mail me and I'll explain it. While I also beleive we need to preserve these tractors as much as possible, there's nothing wrong with making them a little more user-friendly and fun to play with, especially the diesels since we're at a disadvantage from the start with crappy heads and indirect injection.

thanks for the input guys.
my email is [email protected]

I would like to turn these tractors up to have a little fun at the shows. I love old tractors and have around 50 now. i do not plan on damage any of them.

If we do not put on a good show and entertain the younger guys we will be melting down all our tractors in a short while.

thanks for the input guys

Yes all the good machinery that is practical and affordable is being destroyed fast. This will be the permanent end to small guys like myself that want to farm. I am scared we are going to see times so bad that the 1929 deal will look like nothing. Even if we have land what will we work it with for something to eat??

I agree when there gone there gone. Thats why I start with junk when i build a puller, But a little extra fuel and a couple of hundred rpm for a few hundred feet shouldent hurt much. Is the massey for sale?
