gear ratio

Could someone tell me the gear ratio in the
rear end of a TO-20 ferguson.

I guess the TO20 ratios are the same as the TEA20? If so, my manual states:

Gear Ratios:
1st 11.8:1
2nd 8.56:1
3rd 6.22:1
4th 2.98:1
Reverse 10.4:1

Sorry, can't find the diff ratio in my manual.

I believe the differential ratio to be 6.66:1

The Differential Ratio is not given in the TO20/30 Service manual. There are some differences in the ratios in the transmission compared to the TE20 tractors. The Final Drive Ratio for a TE20 series tractor is 6.66:1 BUT I can't guarantee it is the same as the TO20/TO30.

Anybody got one apart? Divide the number of teeth of the pinion into the number on the ring gear and you got it. A calculator will carry it out three or four places. Of course you knew that. ohfred
