Hello, is it possible to change ring and pinion in an Oliver 77 to a higher ratio, so I don"t have to do more engine work. Just need alittle more torque to the wheels. If it is possible to do what Oliver tractor could I get the parts from, a Oliver 55 maybe? Thanks for any info!

your 77 probably has 11/50 pinion and ring gear. a 9/48 was an option and you would need to find one to work in your tractor. only 77 or 770 gear sets will work in your tractor. my dad a 9/48 set put in my 77 for the same reason back in the late 50s. chuck

2000 Dodge,
I have a 9-48 ring & pinion out of a 77 that will slow you down and give you the torque you need. Email or call, 540-270-0198. Keith
