I need help with the bale density. I can"t get the bales tight. I fill up the cylinder with 140psi and have the cylinder full of fluid to the line. I"m not sure which way to adjust the valve that is next to the psi gauge. It was screwed all the way in. Any help would be great.

So which way does it say to go to increase ball tightness? Is there anything else on bale density adjustments.thank you for the help

It says not to mess with that screw actually. Says it's preset. Where is the bolt set that trips the forked lever that changes it from air pressure to hydraulic pressure. The higher up hole that you put that bolt in to,the sooner it starts packing tighter with the hydraulics. Is yours set too low so that you're trying to bale with just air pressure?

Is there any way you can email me a copy of the manual or on the section about the adjustments on bale density. This one valve was screwed all the way up and it was stuck.I had to free it up and have no clue how to set the bale density

All there is on that valve is that page and one short paragraph that says it's preset. You adjust the density by moving that bolt up or down in the holes where that arm with the V shaped fork strikes it. All the way up in the top hole is highest density,lowest hole is lowest density. It's right on that valve that has that screw that you're trying to adjust. If it's in the top hole and won't make a tight bale,maybe a cylinder is blown and just leaking by instead of making pressure?

yes it's in the top already still making really loose bales. how much would you charge me to send me a copy of the manual. is there anything the book how to test the cylinders there might be one leaking. what about filling the air tank up with the transmission fluid does it tell you much on that process .here's my email [email protected]

There's not much more about it in the manual. Nothing on how to know if a cylinder is blown,just that part on cleaning out the relief valve. It just says to fill the tank up to between the lines. Sounds like you're already running more air pressure than I ever do. The book says 120 PSI,I've always run about 90.

Can you send me anything on the adjustment holes that you were talking about earlier.does it say were it should be preset too on the valve?
