GEHL 5640

What is the difference if any on a Gehl 5640 or 5640E? Looking to buy one. Thanks!

While waiting for "hands on' answers, have you done a web search by model. Ritchie is one source. They show both the 5640 and 5640E, (looks like there may have been turbo models as well). There is other info on other sites as well. Check with a dealer for the brochures for both.

I don't know on the 5640e I have a 7810e which is one size bigger. The difference is the 7810 has a perkins and 7810e has a Cummins. Apparently the perkins in the 7810 did not work very well.
