Gehl SP Choppers...

The post in combines & harvesters about the SP188 got me to wondering, are the heads interchangeable with the pull-types? Sadly, I don't know much about the SP's & they were only made 10-15 minutes from here.

In later years Gehl built two models of choppers. The regular duty Chop-All and the heavy duty Chop-King. The heads would not interchange between the two models, but the heavy duty Chop-King heads were the same and would interchange with the SP 188.

Gehl "chop king" 188 pull type & "chop king" SP 188 are same base chopper, all parts exchange; traction unit with 4/71 detroit power unit , is amazing! machine to SEE ! & HEAR !! in operation in the field.
