Hello right back at ya! Never occurred to me that someone might take it for an obit! I was just trying to get his attention as I need a couple of parts and I know he said he had one of them. Thing with Gene is he gets REAL busy some parts of the year and e-mail gets pushed down the list of his priorities. Did not want to actually ask him about the parts on here as it draws the attention of those who feel the need to overstate the obvious. He and I are going to be in the same neighborhood in the near future and I thought I could run cheap on postage and pick the parts up.

I remember my late dad talking about the party-line phone and all the 'rubbering in' on phone calls...two longs, a short and a long; 'Hey, isn't that Gene Bender's ring, oh why not Mabel, just pick up the phone realllllly slow and hold the phone out so's I can hear too.'
