Generator Pulley

I have a 53 Jubilee that came with a 12v generator. The generator never has worked and today when I opened it up it appeared that it had been many years since it had worked. I have found a new 12v generator for a Jubilee at Tractor Parts.com-(http://www.external_link/new_generator_c4nn10002b_8433_prd1.htm) but it does not come with a Pulley. My current generator's pulley has been welded on so I can't re-use it. Can I get some suggestions on what pulley size I should use? I DON'T want to have an alternator hanging on my tractor. How do these compare in size/girth to an original 6 volt?

Are the generator shaft sizes normally the same? The 8N pulley may be a different radius.The generators are different and it has to have the same "v" groove shape.

the shaft should be standard size for that manufacturer. Just take it into a repair shop and they can tell you exactly what you need bud. LarryT
