Generator to Alternator Conversion

Anybody know of a 90 degree drive for the alternator conversion tach drives so that the tach cable can be brought in vertical instead of horizontal.

I have looked for about 4 days after I converted mine and never found anything. If you run across something I am all for it.

Thanks. I haven't been able to find one either. It looks like Lucas is the only generator with a right angle tach drive. All the rest come straight out the back.

If there is room for it, you can attach a 1:1 angle adapter:

Thank you. I had no idea such existed. There's ample room as the alternator is shorter than the generator.

I haven't needed a 90 degree adapter on the ones I've converted, I have had to recheck the alternator rear case half to move the drive around to clean the manifold or a power steering line.
