I have P T O generator would like to do
some welding to the trailer it sits on
Any problem's doing this

Depends on what brand you have.

I would strongly suggest to seperate(unhitch) so you DO NOT have any metal connection between the Tractor and the trailer as you may have a common ground if connected which could have a return electrical path thru the generator winding. This could damage your Gen set so be safe and seperate them prior to turning it on and welding
