I have a 50a back hoe and when I got it the instant reverse filter was bypassed but the filter was still attached. I took it off and cleaned things off and along with the grime, some pieces of JB weld broke off the top. After close inspection it has some cracks. I assume the fix didn't work and that is why it is bypassed. I see that there are universal after market filters out there like the following. Will this work ok? It says rated for 200 psi and I see references in the manual to 160 PSI and 85 PSI so I think pressure should be fine. It also is rated 20 GPM which I see nothing in the manual about gallons per minute. Is 10 Micro OK. Finally, does anyone know if these things use a semi universal filter where I could get a wix or would I be stuck with the brand that comes with the housing?
