Thank you for the info. on the seal, got it put back together today and it works great.didn't have to replace the shaft, but did put in a new brg.

You are welcome Mike in Fl. If my memory serves me, which most of the time it doesn't, isn't the seal behind the bearing? I saved my old shaft. I think a person could install a seal in about 3 different places on the shaft..How is the rain? Could use some in Indiana.
 
I guess it depends on how you look at it, I would say in front. I left the seal back as far as I could and didn't drive it all the way in.haven't seen any leaks .
mine has the double row brg. and a wobble plate brg. - which I couldn't find .
Someone said we got a little over 10" here from Debbie ,now it's just HOT !
