Just a few more details to go.

Had a scare yesterday. Would not run worth a darn. Back fire thru the carb, no power. Thought of a lot of bad possibilities. Turned out to be I had missed installed the 2 and 3 spark plug wires. "These engines are soooo good...." I even have the color coded spark plug wires. Cooke the color blind.

I think you could shave or brush your teeth in the steering wheel cap.

That is an awesome tractor Harold! And a lot more work than doing an N too. It even has the skinny generator & fat manifold.

What's the s/n?

Have I seen that tractor before? I certainly don't recognize it!
What did you finally use to polish the aluminum- lots of sweat and elbow grease?

I always appreciate your posts HC.
More than many others here I know I can rely on your input.
These photos help to explain why I think that way. Thanks -
Great job.

Well that is a very nice job it is a museum piece now. I dont know the story on this tractor. Did you build the tractor around the motor? By the shape of the one on the trailer the Al grill is not there and was the hood Al? The rear wheel has the rivets on the hub. This gal has trophy all over her. Again very nice.

I love the before and after pics. Beautiful Job Harold! It looks like museum quality. I think this sight should have a before and after picture section. What will you do with it now?

Tractor came from Texas. Grill and dog legs are reproduction. Hood and engine are original. Tractor came with one smooth axle and 28" rims. I purchased 32" rims and one smooth axle from awhtx. Spent last summer rebuilding the engine.

That tractor is probably relegated to shows and parades now. I done a lot of work on it since you saw it in my garage. How did the rims work out?

Fine. I used electrolysis to remove all the paint and rust. They are in my garage coated with Picklex awaiting a day I can paint which should be within a couple of weeks. Waiting to paint is like waiting for Christmas. I can appreciate all the work you did on that tractor. Truly a beautiful job. Hat's off. Gerard
