Sometimes I don't feel like I am making progress. But looking at these pics...YEP, PROGRESS!

Now if I can just get the tin and tires done...

That is a lot of progress. It looks very good so far. It looks to me like a bit of tin and you'll be good to go.

Good job Dave!!

(quoted from post at 17:22:39 02/22/12) Awesome! You do very nice work. How much to do one? I have two to work on but no moeny. grin

I think the drive in to work from Georgia would take the fun out of it!

Harry, I'm uploading a picture from the Master Parts Catalog. Sorry that I don't have a scanner and sorry the picture is sideways. It's larger that way and this one can be zoomed to see better.

The fuel tank brackets, #9066, bolt to the engine head at the four top corners (look at the head just below the lower corners of the valve cover.

There is also a heat shield that is not illustrated on this page. The four extra holes, after the other brackets are installed, are where the heat shield bolts. Thought it would be hard to remember how to put this fuel system back together, but it is common sense when you have this book.

You really need one of these Catalogs. It has good drawings and even lists bolt sizes. That is valuable when you remove or cut some old stick of rust that once was a bolt and you have to replace it. Particularly since there is a mix of coarse and fine thread everywhere on the Jube.

You are missing the fan cowling, maybe your choice. Really looking good. I like the black accents on carb and exhaust.

Thanks...you are right, I don't have the fan shroud. After reading post after post in archives, I decided not to go with an aftermarket because most posters indicate they don't fit. Also saw a number of posts from owners that run without a shroud with no problem. So...figured I would try and see how it goes. Not trying to fix up a show tractor so if I find I need it I will either shop for one, or make one. Until then, keeping my fingers crossed!
