I have been looking on this computer for a long time to find the serial number for my Gibson Tractor Model D. I can find
nothing. The number is: D 9870. Can anyone help. Thanks. Charles

Look up Gibson Tractor on facebook,they are very help full and they have registry on all models made. hope this help.

I have a Model D Gibson tractor. Mine I believe is a 1948. The only way I know to date your tractor, as all the records were done away with in the sale and moves of the company. The only way to figure out your tractors date is with the Wisconsin Engine. Use the serial number of the engine, as there are lists of years that the engines were made. Of course if the engine was ever changed then It is a shot in the dark. Good luck and have fun with your tractor.
