Gleaner 301 diesel

I need some input on engine oil for the 301 diesel. I use 15-40 Rotella in my other diesels. Someone else said 40wt. I need to know what is correct.

15w40 is fine to use

Shell said in the fall and winter for temperatures say between 30F and O they would use Rotella T 10-30.
They looked up the engines for the D17 and 19 diesel and said that a straight weight was in the book for them but if you were not having any problems using a mutigrade then 15-40 and 10-30 rotella should be ok.

I'm using Rotella 5-40 Synthetic in my AC 7060 426,Shell Guy said it was OK!!
