Gleanernut

Hello rrlund. I have 2 F2's that are in need of a new home. I have quite a collection of old Gleaners, some of which have come to me in "package deals" I don't need much for them, and they are in operating condition. Both combined this October. If interested, contact me, and we can discuss!

Where are you located? A member here who's south of Battle Creek Mi contacted me with a K2 with both heads at a good price. I need to get down there and look at it when I get a nice day with nothing better to do. It'd be about an hour and a half drive for me.

I am afraid almost to tell you that I"m in Alberta Canada. I know that is a long ways, but nothing is impossible. I tried to post a couple photos earlier, but I must have done something wrong. I'll try again.

I do not know what you are calling a good price for K II , Guy right up the road just sold a gas , with cold air, two row corn and 10 ft bean header. Shewed all its life and in real good condition. $ 1700.00 had tried to get 2 thousand for a couple of years. F with hydraulic augur and diesel engine is what all the part timers are wanting around here.

Nice pic!

I have several ?fence row? F machines I should clear out, but not worth the hauling.

Lee Little spoiled me,that's for sure. He bought a K with two heads for $600. The one that was offered to me has a 3 row and a 13 foot for less than the $1700 you just quoted. I'm good with the price. I just need to get down there with the checkbook and the trailer to haul the heads. I'll have to line up somebody to haul the combine, that's the only hang up. If it was north of here where there's fewer towns and less traffic,I'd consider driving it that far,but where it is,it's not a trip I'd want to make driving it.

Beautiful line up, it would be fun to collect combines but takes a lot of shed space. Don't get all the stuff I use now under cover. Had a M2 for 27 years, now have R50, great machines. I just hope the Gleaners don't get swallowed up by Agco still the best machine out there and easy to work on if needed.
