well we started combine our weat in south Texas with are newly purchested 1981 m2 cutting 60 bushel eat with a 20 foot head and saving straw to bale so far working great only 800 origanl hours on it and ever thing works.

Pa had an F-2 Bought it brand new in I think 1982. Ran a lot of acres through it and had hardly no problems. Just an all around good machine. Very simple and easy to work on. Wish I could say the same for my 750 Massey.

Had an M-2 gear and an M-3 hydro, both excellent machines. Very little downtime with either machine.

Gleaner had a pretty good design.
