GMC Vin decoding

I ghave a (I believe) 1967 GMC truck 1+ ton truck. Has 305V6, 5 spd, 18" wheels and a GVW of 14000 lbs. Vin starts with CM3640VK. Trying to find out exactlt what I have. I believe it is a 40 series, but it is the low profile body style like a pickup. Any help would be appreciated

I do not know if this will help, but I have a 1967 Dodge 400 series 1 1/4 ton. It's GVW is 16000 LBs.

C denotes "conventional cab, 114"BBC ", "M" denotes "gas- v-6" 3640vk, is the production number "V" probably denotes vacuum brakes , not sure what the "K" is unless its a plant id number,id obtained from a article in wheels of time november/december 1995, "identifying gmc trucks of the sixties"

[Repair]

Some of those V6 motors had letters behind the 305 like C & E or somthing like that. If I remember wright the C was not the best one.
