GOG cancelled

I called davenport this morning to see if GOG was still going to happen and was told NO. She said they are having a meeting this afternoon to talk about rescheduling. Darn beer virus!

That would be my concern. Crying Wolf. Chicken Little. I understand not wanting folks to get sick and overwhelm hospitals. But what will we do if things ever get really bad? I suppose this is what happens when the "everyone gets a prize" folks are in charge. Imagine when the "everyone gets a prize for just being" folks are in charge.

The major news media, and the other party finally got their wish, they crashed a strong economy and created havoc in the country..all over a 7 day flu..

I do not know, Tim. Whether or not this is some sort of vast conspiracy, it shows that our economy is not very strong if it cannot stand up to it. The volatility of the market could easily be fixed, enact a Penney a share trade fee or require that all shares must be held for two weeks before they can be traded again. There, I fixed market volatility.

And I also do not understand how a party that has a majority in one half of one branch of the government has the power you are implying.

I wonder if our local club will still meet next Wednesday. They discovered a case right here in our county yesterday.

Experts with no common sense add confusion to the process..in any situation.. and stupidity has a nasty snow ball effect...we are seeing that in the stores now..

I'm not going to get in to it very far,but it's here locally now. I saw what happened in that nursing home in Washington. My aunt is 95 and is in one local nursing home,a cousin with Alzheimer's is in another one,a good friend/neighbor is in a third one. If that virus gets in to those homes, they're dead, there's no doubt in my mind.

My bigger concern is my wife. She has a history of asthma when she was younger, she smoked for nearly 35 years, she's had pneumonia several times,I know how hard that even a cold hits her. If she gets it,I don't give her more than a 50% chance of surviving it.

You guys can blow it off as political all you want and call it a hoax or overblown or whatever you want to call it,but to me it's personal. That's the last thing I'm going to say about it. If I wanted to have these discussions,I'd still be wallowing in the mud on Talk and Tales. The only response I had to this post originally was to wonder out loud if our local club was still going to meet next week.

I agree with Tim S. News media got their way. I drive Tractor and trailer, yesterday I was going to pick up a load from Clorox. They had 132 trucks lined up for over a mile. Two day wait on a load. I came home, he?? With that.

Things are kinda slow here. I was gonna go over for a day and catch a couple of workshops. I'm sure when it gets rescheduled I'll be too busy to get outta here, try for 2022. My wife went to get groceries this morning shoulda' had her pick up Corona..... Beer.

Tim expressed my feelings but the panic is real. The farmers, truckers and mechanics will continue doing what they do best in keeping America moving.

News media never made a fuss like this and whipped the public into a panic with the swine flu. Which was more dangerous and infectious virus.
News media are falling all over themselves to blame the current POTUS of personally manufacturing the distributing Covid19z
