Good corn yield

started combineing corn yesterday.Some of my 'organic'corn.planted in an old fallowed alfalfa ground.no added fertilizer,no chemicals,non gmo.So far it looks like it will be some of the best corn I ever raised!....I am happy!

WHat is it yielding? i used to farm organically but havnt been able to get a crop in on my new little farm due to the wet soil and time constraints. WHat size rows and plant population are you using? How was the weeds?

Dont know the yield yet-just getting started.30 inch rows;30 plant population;weed pressure was high(so high I had to spray with 24D),cultivated 2 or 3 times(really cleaned up well);Irrigated;plantedMay 15/16.

is 24D considered organic

no.the corn is no longer'organic'.It was spray it or lose it.My 'buyer' accepted it anyway because it was nonGMO
