Good word for Detweiler's

I recently purchased a set of Float-Ride seat rubbers for a tractor of my own from Detweiler's in Wisconsin. They separated after a few hours use. They sent me another set that ended up doing the same thing. Long story short, they took care of my problem and made it right. With all the problems others have with different businesses I wanted to put in a good word for them. I will not hesitate to do business with them again. They have earned my trust. Mike

I agree. I have bought bought a lot of parts from them over the years and their service and products were always top notch. They are good to work with when a situation does arise.

Mike,
I guess its nice to hear that you are having better luck with them than others have.

I have had several problems with them, and will tell everyone that will listen NOT to go there.

I wouldn't like for anyone to get the illusion that they are one of the best.

Just my opinion. Jim.

I also will add that I've always been happy with them and there products. If there was ever an issue, they made it right. Good folks.

Placed an order there because they are closer than some others. Thought I"d get it in maybe 3 days at most. Waited 4 then called to see what was up. They hadn"t even sent it yet! They didn"t think I was in a hurry was what they told me. WFF!

The only one that I have located that does not sell the real cheap junk F/R Seat rubber pieces is Nick Barbieri (516-221-4116) ([email protected])
His cost a little more, but they work! His profit is much less than the ones selling the junk ones.
Bought a set from Nick 8 years ago and have never had any trouble.
Any company that is selling the overseas made ones is just greedy and trying to make a lot of money on a part that they know will fail.

Uh yeah but they also sold you parts that required you to take your seat apart twice! Know that you are not the first to have problems with the cheap torsion springs. The sellers know this and still offer them for some reason! You would think they would toss them in the trash to prevent the return headaches as well as a poor reputation.

They sent me two sets of seat springs that both ended up being bad. They bought a set of springs from another supplier to make things right with me. They also sent a return tag so I could send the defective springs back to them so they could go to their supplier with complaints. They said they were starting to get some complaints on these and wanted mine to show their supplier. I wasn't out anything but the incovenience of doing the job three times but did not spend one cent extra for the trouble. They stood behind their product and will likely change to a different supplier now that these problems are found. I did not choose to raise hell with these folks and they in turn treated me extremely fairly. I just wanted to make them aware of a problem if they did not already know about it. I felt I was treated right. Mike
