Got another calendar

Got this calendar from 1964 from the dealer in my home town. My brother picked it up at a garage sale and gave it to me. Has all the months too.

In other news, bought this heifer last September, the sale barn said she was open and wouldn't breed. Guess they were wrong. Lol

Was born night before last when it was 6 below zero. Put them in the barn for a few days while it's really cold. It's a nice big bull calf.

Congrats on the gifts Jon. The calendar looks cool. Will you sell the calf or raise him for breeding stock? Might have to name him Miracle.

Congrats on the surprise calf! Your calendar is really cool too, I agree a CASE IH dealer at that point and time must have been a real rarity .

Nice calendar Jon. There were only a very few Case/IHC dealers before the merger. It is nice to find one from your local dealer in good shape. You don't often get a surprise calf, good for you.

I had never seen one dealer offering both CASE & IH before the IH buyout in '86.
About the same as Case/JD dealers, only a handful in the whole country. I was told by several dealers that IH and JD were continually trying to get them to drop Case, and most did.

Jon, I'm up north a bit from you up by McGregor and I have a 310 F crawler loader that has the old metal tag on it from Braham Implement. And if I remember right it is a 64 model. The tag is one of those that resembled the old metal tags you got with a deer license or a beaver trapping license. I bought it from a guy by Willow River I'm sure he didn't buy it new but kind of interesting. It is a nice little machine for use on the farm.
