Got em home!

Hired the guy that hauled the parts tractors for us a few years ago for $225 to go get both my 51's home to me. He had a 160 mile round trip. Brought
them on a 20ft tilt bed. I got them unloaded with no issues and into the garage in the dark. I figured by the time i rented an 18ft tilt
bed..gas..time..someone to watch the kiddo..i was money ahead at his price.

Glad you and tractors are back safely. Sometimes it is better to have someone whose experienced do the hauling and the price was very reasonable. Probably saved you from other hauling headaches as well.

I never bought a trailer heavy enough to haul a tractor simply because the few times I would use it I would be uncomfortable in my inexperience. over the years I have probably paid enough in hauling charges to have bought a tandem axle trailer but I have no regrets. better safe than very sorry.

Thanks guys! Went out to move them around a bit to get more room in the garage and what do ya know my battery is stone dead on the one in front. Of course jumper cables never made it back into my pickup. So now I'll need to figure out where there's a draw. I didnt leave the key on either.

That's true! We had a very easy ammicable divorce Friday. No lawyers. Agreed on everything. Kiddo misses her dad. Big adjustment for us both.

(quoted from post at 02:31:38 10/27/15) SMART COUPLE. My ex-wife and I did the same things way.
Oh ya it was either split everything 50/50 or have an auction and give it all to lawyers. I didnt want alimony and I retained custody of our daughter and he has her alt weekends and can see her whenever he wants as far as im concerned. I dispise women or men that keep the kid from the other parent to be as*holes
