Got some rain, finally

I got home with no problems with the hay. Thank you again for providing it.

We finally got some rain last weekend. My rain gauge showed four and a half inches over about a five day period. It was nice gentle, even rain. Last I heard we were something like forty inches below normal for the year! It sure feels good to have a little moisture on the ground. I hope I'll be able to cut a little more hay yet this year.

That is good to hear. It is possible with that much rain you will get at least something to have for a second cutting. I am in the process of getting maintenance done for next year. I thought I would go ahead and do it this fall instead of next spring. We are also thinking about reseeding about 10 acres for next year. If we do it may be in a couple of weeks. Talk to you again soon.
