Got started disking

It's a little early, but I got a start on disking my food plots. I wanted to do the garden, but it still has a lot of frost. Disk only cut in about two inches. The frost is gone from the lighter ground enough to take soil samples.

Temps were in the upper 40s. Great day to work outside. Cut back my autumn olive borders--they'll sprout 4-6 feet by fall--and stacked all the brush for rabbits.

I'm going to brushhog the grain sorghum stems left from last year, then disk it in. Supposed to be in 50s and 60s all week. Robins are back so spring might finally be here. I know I sure am getting spring fever.

Must be different over your way. Ground is still froze solid over here in Montcalm. Been trying to get some manure out,but it gets greasy by noon.

I plowed 4 acres last nite after work in SW PA. Too early to plant, but nice to get started. DIsks easier after 2-3 rains, also.
