Got started with spring work

Started with some tiller work to plant grass around the new patio and filled the garden with my new 190 tractor.

Started field work on Saturday with the 1030 and heavy disc.

Sunday picked some clinkers. The 830 and loader worked good for that. I lost count around 20 buckets full.

Those 2 fields will be planted to barley and hay so the rocks had to go. Hope to get them planted this weekend.

When we were kids on the farm, we picked rocks onto a hay wagon. Six kids, three on each side with Dad in the tractor seat. Oldest kids were farthest from the wagon and younger kids walked next to the wagon. We would cover about a 30-foot-wide swath on each trip of the field. Anything that the big kids couldn't lift would be marked and we would come back later with shovels and a tractor. Fun times.

I actually got started today too. Got some potatoes planted.
