How should the adjustable screw on gov be set?

If this is the adjustment you are referring to I set mine on my 8N so the bolt just touches the stop on the governor when the throttle handle is at the end of the quadrant on the dash, which would be full throttle.

That screw sets the maximum engine RPM. Turn the screw in to lower the maximum rpm, back it out to raise the maximum rpm. Adjust the throttle linkage so the screw is against the stop when your quadrant is at full throttle.
