FOUND OUT MY GOVENOR ROD SHAFT WAS BINDING SO MY CARB IS OK, WHAT IS CORRECT LENGTH OF ROD TO CARB SETTING, SEEMS TO WANT TO RUN UP AND DOWN MORE THAN IT SHOULD ONCE I GOT EVERYTHING FREED UP.CARB TO GOV ROD SITS LOOSE IN BOTH ENDS. MAYBE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT BEFORE I CK GOV WTS. RUNS PERFECT EXCEPT THE LOPING AT IDLE.DWC

Throttle wide open, carburetor buttlefly held wide open, rod should be 1/2 hole short. That way when you force against the spring just a half hole, you remove all play from the governorand all the connections.
