Would someone happen to know how to adjust the governor on a 504? After replacing the pinion assembly for the governor my throttle seems off. I move the lever about half way down before the idle picks up. It doesn't seem to open all the way full throttle. Only about 1250 rpm as far as I can tell. I checked the carb rod with throttle open and it's all the way back. I tried to adjust the screw on top of the governor but the throttle doesn't change. Maybe I did something when it was apart? I thought the idle should raise up with the top adjusting bolt. If no one knows why I can't adjust it. What manual do I need? I&T manual?Thanks for the help.
