I took the carb off my Ford 2000 (1964)and put a rebuild kit in. When I put it back together it started right up and it runs well.The problem is that the governor doesn't work now. Any help would be apprecaited.

When I rebuilt my carb, I had the same problem. I sprayed lube on all the carb, throttle, and govenor linkages, and ran the tractor a bit. Then started over on the carb adjustments to fine tune it, and the govenor worked fine again. The linkages were pretty gummed up so I figured that one of them was sticking after disconnecting them from the carb initially for the rebuild.
I hope you issue is as easy to fix as mine was.
