i have a small bore gp with a cracked block beyond repair, will a big bore block fit and if so do you have to get the big bore head also. thanks Brad

A big bore block will fit. I think you could make the small bore head work, but I can't remember as its been a few years. Why not just replace it with the small bore block? The small bore parts are much easier to find and much cheaper. If you have a good big bore block you could sell it and have enough cash to buy 2 small bore blocks. Good luck!

If you change to a big bore block the head, manifold, carburetor and intake will need to be changed. Small bore blocks are easier to come by.

You can shoe horn a small bore manifold on to a big bore block but the passages aren't the same. You can make one run mixing and matching things but takes a little dinking around.
